Live gold (rupee) charts
I’ve added yet another link at the top of the right sidebar at GalaTime - this one contains live quotes & charts for gold, in Indian rupees. A lot of it is from TheBullionDesk, which lets you create custom quotes/charts and embed them in your website - very cool!
While the dollar & gold have a relatively strong relationship, or atleast one that’s been studied in detail, the same isn’t true here in India. Gold has a special place in our hearts, and gold purchases (hoarding?) are probably based more on tradition than investment strategies! Here’s a historical perspective on gold in India; another article contrasts gold price appreciation with rupee devaluation.
