Outlook for India: Comparisons with 1994

I came across two articles today - one from Morgan Stanley’s daily Global Economic Forum - and another from BizStd - that talked about similarities between the Indian economy of 1994 and that of today.

The MS-GEF article lists several similarities - inflation, capital inflows, credit growth, corporate profitability, etc. Back then, overheating concerns led to CRR hikes by the RBI, rapid increases in interest rates and finally economic slowdown. Will history repeat itself, or merely rhyme?
